Agree, not a Firecat. They also had wood inlays at riser ends.......part of the pro series back then.
I had a '89 or '90 Firecat and still have a '96 Firecat with Ultrasonic wheels, but don't...
Be careful, going to a longer shaft effectively weakens arrow too.......and you'll lose about 3-4fps vs the 27.5".
It will be stiffer than the 55/75 and should still be fine, but just wanted to make...
When I run my numbers thru OT2, I always use the "Hunting" filter in Spine Match.
Running your set-up the same way, w/27.5" GT (assumed XT Hunter) 55/75 shaft, GT nock, Blazers, 100gr pt, it did...

Dampeners: I've used limb savers for a long time and really like them............never tried bowjax.
Broadheads: My state requires fixed blade heads. Currently using Wasp Hammer SST, 100gr. Flies...
I'm not where I can plug this in to my OnTarget2 program, but based on what my Bengal set-up/fps (see sig), I would agree with the 263 fps being close.
The Pinwheel Software for Archers...
That method never worked out well for me..........first time I tried it, after about 30 minutes, my wife threw me and the meat out the door :o
FYI: Have a foil lined drip pan in there
Those instructions do say "Never eat uncooked sausage"
I like to course grind up about 10lbs well trimmed scrap deer meat and the same with 1-2lbs of beef fat, then medium grind/blend together....
That Truglo mentioned is only one I've noticed with different pins sizes. They are bright pins.
Not a real high end sight, but I have a different Truglo model and it has been a good one, holding up...
I was curious, so using your posted specs and low end of Onza3 listed IBO rating of 330-340, I ran it thru a OnTarget2 program.
Not sure which Linejammer arrow you use or length (must be pretty...
I think for the price that is one of the better cameras out there.........started looking a 2-3 months ago at getting a new camera. Did quite a bit of research and read many reviews, and came real...
Measure it yourself. .
Check out the last page of the Easton Arrow Tuning & Maintence Guide.....easy and and you'll know exactly what your specific arrow FOC really is....
FYI: your taking to someone with four decades of riding, mostly dirt and know all about WD-40. That was a poor choice of brand names for this topic.........I guess I used "WD-40" as a generic term...
It's drop away for me.
I can’t even get myself to try a Whisker Biscuit. After so many years of trying to tune my bows to achieve 100% vane clearance for the cleanest arrow flight, it just seems so...
One of my friends, who is the most experienced archer/bowhunter I personally know, is on the "swear by them" side. FMJ's are his go-to arrow for big game hunting and he's taken a lot of animals with...
Only about 10 National Forests, many wildlife management areas scattered across the state and large chunks of BLM land.......and big chunks of wilderness (now too much IMO)...
I was going with that thought as well, especially after seeing the last UFO pic
I've done some dirt biking up there and love the area, but haven't hunted it (I'm in Boise). Suppose to be pretty good late season whitetail hunting nearby, and wolves haven't wiped out elk herds as...
I've never attended (or even knew of) his seminars, but I really like his books...............based just on those, I would expect the seminars to be very helpful and informative.
When I bought my Bengal in fall of '09, that was the first time I had tried a drop rest or release...AND...first time ever with a peep.
I shot fingers and used a sight without a peep since the brass...
leaches are not very durable, tending to cut in half and pop out aftershooting a while.........at least that has been my experience, and most the guys I shoot with that have tried them.
That second one is the way I like to do them........looks pretty good when done too.
I'd also guess about 1987-1989 Firecat XR with classic wheels (not sure they called them "classic" then).....and it was the cast magnesium riser
Somebody changed the wood inlays on the bow
Here is...
Good job.....good buck......and good instructions
I decided to try that for the first time on an old mulie buck I got a few years ago. Didn't do quite as nice of job (or as a buck) as you show...
