The bow was purchased in late 2009 and has Cat2 cams with the newer mods. The older mods were causing string wear. This bow is still for sale and shoots like a dream.

Hey have you ever played around with NOS X cams on a Slayer riser with the longer limbs (16" or 17")?
Can someone give me an example of Barnesdale Limb Deflection codes?
And could someone explain what the code means....ie Martin is 3H....4H is five lbs more deflection.
Thanks
Sooooo how much would you be willing to take fo those?
Ok here goes....
I have an older SlayR riser with C cams shoot-through, just needs strings.
I have an 07 Slayer with B cams shoot-through
I have an older SlayR with B cams shoot-through that...
I already have a slayer with 14" limbs and B cams. just like playing around with different stuff. So the Cat cammed Slayer will be similar to my Warthog performance-wise then.
28 to 28.5 depending on the bow I. I play with it until it feels right to me.
Thanks for the info. I found a Cat cammed slayer on AT for 150 and couldn't stand it. I also have a set of NOS-X C cams laying around so if I don't like it with Cats I will have another option.
Did you say once that you had assembled a 13" limb NOS cammed Slayer? If so what were the specs like on that.
Scepterman is in Bartow now. I am still in Frostproof though. I avoid the shop in question at all costs, they HATE Martin products.
Like say an older Slayer riser....hmmmmmm
Grip angle was changed at some point. If you have a Slayr (older bow) it will have a different grip angle than a Slayer. I have both. Scepterman30X can verify the actual angles.
Anyone know where a set of 14" 3H or lower, square end limbs could be had or taded for? I have a set of 4H limbs, and want lower poundages.
I'm sure if there was any advantage to doing this project, Martin would have already done it :)
I wonder if I could take the limb/pockets off of one of the Slayers and switch them to my warthog riser....and then put the newer limbs/roto cups on the slayer riser. I would need new strings cables,...
Good luck Madlaz, people that have them are hoarding them like gold.
Five turns is fine, and Bfisher who is one of the resident Martin experts says he does six all of the time with no problems.
They are best when they are so fresh they try to jump out of the pan when you drop them in the oil, lol.
Shoot me a pm with a price!
Brother Scepterman,
It is not so much a need, but if somebody had 14" limbs, NOS cams and axles laying around that they don't need....well it never hurts to ask, lol.
Happy B-day Barry! Get yo butt back to FLA and shoot with us again.
What is the deflection on the limbs? And how much would you take for the limbs, cams and axles?
