Welcome to all newbies! AT sucks. I seldom go there anymore and am seriously contemplating deleting the site from my bookmark toolbar. Too much drama over there and not much a smalltime Martin...
I thought I was gonna be able to help you. I got a 97 speed demon with Z cams. Hutch made a set of strings for me as well. My bow being one year newer, the cables were full synthetic wher as yours...
Figures lol. Hard to know what to believe nowadays.

Pics and memories are as important as a kill. Nice job Hutch.
We still, as always, are crazy with deer in our area. They are like fleas on a dog. But this year there has been alot of blue tongue disease going around. Alot of people been finding lots of deer...
Any luck hutch? My daughter is only 8. I can't wait till shes old enough.
Thanks guys. Sorry took so long to get back here. I have been super busy trying to make my wife a recipe book on shutterfly with about 5000 of her recipes in a ziploc bag lol. It's been hectic...
My 13 year old son shot his first bird today. Actually a first for the family as the old man hasn't ever shot a turkey lol. We stalked through a thick 120 acre cedar thicket and after about 300 yards...
I got my shoulder straps on and adjusted properly. I think this stand weighs 15 lbs maybe a tad less. It is steel not aluminum. If I decide I want a second hang on I may check out those aluminum ones...
That's a good idea thanks
I bought an Ameristep Challenger tree stand today. I was wondering what is the easiest way to hang one of these the day of the hunt? I bought 5 screw in steps also. I have hung tree stanstands before...
I think the site is more cheery than last years. The colors with the mountain view are very warming.
I wa wondering when Martin was gonna update their site. I didn't realize my bookmark tab on my firefox toolbar was the 2012 url. Today on another computer I typed in www.martinarchery.com and walla...
Yellow one is tighter. I will try to sand it. I just didn't realize a pinch tighter would make that big a difference.
The red one is the same as what the arrows came with. The yellow one is the replacement nock. So your saying sand the yellow one down to fit looser on the string between the d loop?
I broke a nock on one of my arrows last summer. I went to the store to get some replacement nocks. They did not have the exact same kind as what all the rest of my arrows had but I bought a pack...
I have heard alot of people saying stuff like this in this thread. Was there a problem with the QD?
I do know anytime you constantly remove and reinstall something from aluminum it wears faster...
Pretty sure your right. It was a nice idea though. Whats with all the talk about limb issues with solid limbs? Is this an issue that still exists or did they fix the problem at some point?
Anyone know if those new roller cable guards can be purchased and bolted on my 2012 Silencer or are the risers holes machined differently?
I have read posts on both forums and got to admit I wonder when is it gonna be my time for a problem with my 2012? I am sure glad I bought a bow from that year instead of buying a 2011 ect. I have...
Yes you are right. I am still very proud
