i have that one on my firecat 400. they sent it to me after i told them i was feed up with that SOS piece of junk.

just replace it with the old style alot quieter and more durable. i did it and it bolts right in.

72 lbs 29in draw 430 grains 301 fps

every martin ive seen for 2011 has had these problems.

loctite the cams

get some epoxy and fix the grips.

the vem arrow rest will come loose as well

and order and sos or two for back ups.

sos is gone. im using the trg still

exxcelerator works alot better than regular stuff with no mess

so ditching the sos and going with last years style = :cool:

perfect. and quieter and its a solid design i will never put that sos back on.

ditched the SOS last night. the kit came with an old style cable slide but i didnt put that on im still gona use the TRG. ill shoot it some time today but were in the process of moving across country...

its all cosmetic. i asked this question when i got my FC400. my dealer went to the show and asked too. and the martin rep there said the only real difference is the hook in the riser.

i gave mine a slight gap and pulled my string leaches out of the string but left them in the cables. no difference.

mine hits dead center. i have and extra one too. im going to double them up till i get my new one.

ill find out soon its on the way. but either way it beat repalcing the damn thing every 300 shots.

im actually going to replace the sos with a more normal style string stop

im really considering scrapping the sos and going with a rear stabilizer mount one

ive destroyed two. in about 130 shots. i need to call martin. i was thinking about doubling them up to see how that holds up.

blazers rock but you do need a hair of extra clearance. not to add more confusion bit the only way ive shot them is straight fletched. whats the difference with offset and helical. and does it work?
