    I wouldn't be bowhunting bears without backup either.

    I Rifle Hunt also. If you modern Rifleman want to call it a Rifle. I belong to a pre 1840 Black Powder Club. I hunt with my TC Hawken. It has a special Round Ball Barrel 32" long with 1 in 66" twist in 50 Cal.

    It looks great hutch. I can buy a new one in WM for $367 but they just don't look as good as the old ones that had such nice wood. The new cheapo is very bland looking. Still an iconic gun though.

    Now that is a beautiful rifle. When tax returns come around next year, Ill be getting a Lyman Great Plains 50. It also a roundball set up. Dad had
    one and he could cut playing cards in half edge wise at 25 yards.
