Right hand shooter, left eye dominant

im left eye dominant too... but i can switch um up while shooting like sonny said. one thing i have found is that i build the sight picture(in my head) for a shot at a 3d target with my left eye, and then when i actually build it(while shooting) with my right, the pov changed and i have to letdown and "reset". if i dont do this it feels like im shooting at a differnt target. only applies to 3d though.... i dont shoot with my left eye open though, i just close it.

coming from a firearm coaching background if your left eye dominant you really should shoot left handed reguardless if your right handed or not. i work in law enforcement and there are a lot of people i work with that are right handed but they are left handed shooters and vice versa. trying to teach my daughter same thing, she is right handed but left eye dominant therefore she is left handed shooter, but it does mess with your head a little.

oh,i shoot rifles left handed. its not a problem shooting right handed though. im lucky 2 have 20/10 in bolth of my eyes.

if your left eye dominant you really should shoot left handed reguardless if your right handed or not.

Not quite as simple with archery though. Do you shoot a scoped rifle with both eyes opened?

Well, I'm right handed and right eye dominant, and I can shoot left or right handed. With a bow I close one eye, but with rifle I shoot with both eyes open.

most of the time I shoot with both eyes open w/firearm, bow I close one eye. i'm left handed and left eye dominant, i can shoot a pistol w/either hand and a longgun right handed if i have to, bow can't shoot right handed worth a flip.
