I am looking to purchase the firecat 400 soon. I already own a 70 dollar whisker biscuit. Is this one needed for mounting on this bow or what?

no need to buy martin products to be put on a martin bow.pick a rest you want and mount away
So what is the point in the Loc mount? Twisting from brush or something like that? Im not just not visualizing this right. The one I have now has no chance of movement unless you throw it out of the tree or something.
no, you got it pretty well figured out it sounds like... martin offers an alternate mounting method though. maybe fugure out some other trinket u can put on your bow![]()

Thanks everyone. That is pretty clear to understand. Now I am thinking I just be able to buy the Locmount w/out the whisker b. and attach my own to the mount but I dont know if you can do that either. I would have to go look.. Thanks again though.
In your post you mentioned the firecat 400, the firecat 400 riser is a standard setup and is not drilled for the lockmount![]()
