Anyone used craigslist?

Wondering if anyone has sold anything on craigslist before. What if anything do they charge you for this? I have a couple things I can't sell on e-bay but can on craigslist. I have heard some bad things about using the site. Anyone able to help?

There's no charge to sell on Craigslist, but I can't recommend to sell on there. I got very few potential buyers, false emails, and my item never did sell while on Craigslist.

Really? From everything that is spoken about craigslist its a hot place to sell your stuff?

no charge for use. It can b a PITA, but it's been a huge benefit to me. I made $2800 in a month off truck parts. Sold astuff yesterday and another guy coming tomorrow. That's where I found my Cheetah. I sell n trade on there alot. For those that don't know,its a nationwide classifieds. No firearms sale allowed,though. Try Armslist.com for that.

Really? From everything that is spoken about craigslist its a hot place to sell your stuff?

It probably depends somewhat on what you are selling. I had my PSE on there, and I did sell it, but not by using craigslist.

I solkd an old bow, and a Jeep on Craigslist. Other than some spam e-mails and phone calls, I haven't had any problems at all. Both of those sold pretty fast too. Now if I could just sell my BMW I've had posted for months. lol

i buy and sell things on craigs list all day long.thats ware i got my bengal.you are charged nothing to sell items.remember to never ship,take checks,money orders,paypal or any money transfers of any kind.only take cash and meet at public place not your home.never give out your mailing adress or home adress.people do try and scam as its just how things are these days.dont take money from the aferican prnce.i have bought 4 of my rigs off craigslist.its a great way to sell to peole in your area.and a good place to buy thing because you can hagel on the price.i talked a guy down from 8,000 on a 2004 suburben to 4000 cash in hand,but im reall good at talking people down.i really lke craigslist.
