Going Moose hunting this fall whoooooooooooooo!!!!

We had our draw for moose 2 weeks ago and nobody in our group got picked.Well got a call today to take a friend of my brothers out to our zone,so looks like I will be out chasing the old swamp donkey's after all.can't wait.

always thought it would be cool to kill bullwinkle, but what do you do once he's down? how many guys does it take to get one out? heard you'll only shoot one while its in the water!

always thought it would be cool to kill bullwinkle, but what do you do once he's down? how many guys does it take to get one out? heard you'll only shoot one while its in the water!

Some people are lucky and get them on the roads,for me they seem to be in the worst place they can go down.My bull 2 yrs ago,went down at 5 and it was just after 10 by the time we gutted and hauled it up to the truck,about a 1000 yds with a bike 2 people on the front rack through alders and swamp.The old saying with moose is"once there down,the FUN is over"

SL, I'm taking both gun and bow. FC400 and .257 Weatherby. HOPING to get it with a bow, but being my first time hunting them, I'm ok with a gun kill as well. lol We are hunting the last half of season starting Oct. 7th, going through the 15th.
