Our Bear season here opens Sept. 10 with deer Archery. Wew can take 2 this year.DNR reports a bumper crop of bears for us this time.Never killed one and don't know what I would do with one if I whacked it.LOL

Archery for bear is around the same time,would like to take one with a bow,but the taste does not agree with me.

I have always heard and read that it was very greasy and tough if not prepared properly(I guess it all has to be prepared properly.lol)
