i don't use anything on my string, i put 2 limbsavers on my prowler, 1 on upper limb, 1 on lower and seemed to quiet the bow enough that didn't need to put any on string. used to use spiders on string before 1 on top 1 on bottom

yep gotta say whiskers do the trick ,had better luc with top and bottom with a side order of limb savers shhhhhhhhhhhh its quiet good luc!!!!!

Take one of the fat rubber bands .Cut a peice about 3 incches long and tie it to the string .Right on top of the loop . Did a better job quieting my bow than the STS did. Only lasts a couple shots but works good for hunting. Doesnt seem to affect point of impact.
