Which do you prefer?

Which do you prefer bullet points? or regular field points?

Reason I ask my bullet points didn't penetrate as far as the regular field points do. I am wondering if I shouldn't go back to bullet points?

the point behind a bullet point is low peneteration.it makes it ezer to remove your arrow.field points go deeper and make it a bit harder to pull your arrow.but i ust field points,there cheep

Bullet points. Field points cause more damage to other shafts that get hit.

sonny, i'm gonna go back and read those asa rules about bounce outs. if they're automatic tens then i'm turning my bow down to 40 pounds and shootin' 500 grain arrows with blunt points...that means i'll always finish even at least.

I don't know, those 500 grain arrows might give too much penetration still. Maybe some sub 200 grain arrows would be better, less momentum.

Well I got some new arrows. I am going to use bullet tips for now since they are only for my targets.

good choice.soooooooo much ezer to remove your arrow.and it kind of makes a guy feel like he is shooting a gun bow.lol

Better off, I ruined a lot of shafts with field points. Costly lesson.

I'm using field points, yes ruins more arrows which I'm hoping to not do anymore. I am using arrow lube on my arrows before I go shoot, pull like butta.
