No, they use to be modified to shoot full auto here, that is when semi autos were legal.

It would be cool to do a comparison, a stock Ruger against other stock semi autos. I do see what you mean, four seconds is probably a little slow for a semi-auto 22 LR.

I can say this about it's cycling speed. I own an H&K G3. At the time, it was the fastest cycling military semi-auto around. I think it was also the fastest on full auto for a hand held military rifle. The 10/22 is just slightly behind it. That's PLENTY fast for anyone.

Just watched the recent Sons of Guns and Jerry Miculec shot ten rounds from a Saiga AK47 variant in 1.4_ something seconds. Beat that!

^^ The way it should be, never having to know if customer service is great or not! Too bad it isn't that way for all companies. It makes you wonder when eveyone knows about great customer service from a company doesn't it? ^^

That isn't going to happen, at least not from a stock Ruger.

I may have to break out the M&P15-22 and see how fast I can get it to fire. Hmm will have to wait though it is going to be 105 today.
