    Default DIY target pics

i already posted details in my ramblings in the "groups" thread. posts 62-64,so ill refrain from reposting. this is the finish product. i think this one will last awhile. i wrapped the whole thing in an old trampoline mat. its kinda cool the way it turned out w a 3/4 round outline on the target face. as much as id like to say i planned that,I didnt. after i got it wrapped,I made a nice base for it. total weight is 72lbs. thickness is just shy of 18". 8" of penetration at 6ft w the Cheetah at 28.5/60 shooting a 26.75" Harvest Time HT-2 400 spine at 7.4gpi and tipped w 100gr FP. im very happy with the way it turned out.

It looks good Hawg. I think it will. If per chance it doesn't I have made targets that last a year before you have to change the facing, and that is all it is ready to go another year. But still that looks good it should last awhile.

Nice job Hawg. Much better than the one I made. lol Mine was closed cell foam sandwiched between plywood and ratchet strapped together. lol Stopped the 60#ers pretty well, but the 70's buried the arrows inside.
