limb forks spaceing

this is question about limbs and cams.do differnt model bows made the same year have differnt spaceing between the limb forks.lets say 2 single cam bow's same year and make but differnt model's.this has got me thinking about the recent 2010 cheeta thread.if i needed a new bottom limb could i use the one off of a cheeta for my bengal or vice versa,and still use my acu-trac cam or a mpro cam with out the use of a spacer.
