martin phantom 3

came across a martin phantom 3, nitrous cams, shoot through for sale, not a lot of details available.
any opinions on this one as a womens 3d finger shooting bow 35# 25'' draw length.

i shoot a martin mystic, furious x, with fingers and am very happy with this bow. just considering having a spare bow about.

I had a 2006 P3 with Nitrous X. If the bow is one with Elite limbs I'd assume you would need A Nitrous cams for the short draw length. That's what I had. Never having shot a Mystic I can't compare the two, but expect some vibration with the P3. Nothing a little more mass weight and good stabilizer system can't cure, but it'll never be as vibration free as a parallel limbed bow. It's just the nature of the more traditional geometric design. The bow was a good shooter though and has decent length for finger shooting at shorter draw lengths.

still waiting for the AT forum classifieds seller (womens and youth bows) to get back to me with a few details.
looks ok in photos, listed as "one owner, never dry fired" $250. nitrous A cams .25-40#. has not listed year model, nor limbs. i've looked in a few old martin catalogues and there were a few options available over a few years with the phantom.
$250 buys a better bow from overseas than $250 would in australia, regardles of the $ exchange rate.

So true. I wouldn't expect much here for $250, some of the perfectline bows cost more $$.

hoping to hear that it has the elite limbs, making for a bit longer ATA and BH. the 3 printed on the limb makes me think they may not be elite.

are the elite limbs usually marked as elite limbs, or are they just labelled MARTIN in print on the limbs?

Don't know if they have elite on the limbs but someone here will.

Don't worry about the "3" printed on the limb. Look at the pics Destroyer posted. This is exactly what mine looked like. These are Elite limbs. It's easy to tell because they are slightly recurved. The P3 Magnum would have straight, 14" limbs. FYI, the P3 with Nitrous cams was a 2006 model. 2007 models changed to the Furious cams.

This is what had me confused, in the 2006 catalog its listed as the Magnum, no elite.
