can a 2008 Moab be fitted with CCS in place of cable rod?
Hey guys. Was wanting to buy a moab,2008 model. It is equipped with the cable rod. I was curious if I couldequip it with the CVS,and sts. Any info would be great. I really will buy it anyway because of how it shoots and how quiet and dead in the hand it is. Thanks guys,Tom.

In a nutshell the answer is no. A CCS cannot be fitted to a 2008 riser. The CCS requires a 3/4" wide x 1/4" deep slot machined in the right side of the riser (RH bow) and two holes drilled and countersunk through the riser to bolt it on. Your riser is not machined as needed. I've had a 2008 FireCat and now have a 2010 Alien Z with a CCS and frankly I'm not all that sure the CCS is much of an improvement, if any at all.

Ok,thanks. The slide,in my opinion,while not looking as cool,it s a better thing,imo. What about a Sts? Is there a rear stabilizer hole?
