Sept 15th for us and one thing left to do and we will be all ready. WA HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
That is if the deer still are around after the hurricane.

Oct 1st opener here,with a week long early antlerless hunt private land only. I wait til Oct though. Squirrel season starts 9/15. But I'm ready and chompin at the bit

Oct. 1 here as well, and I'm already pacing the floor! Set ground blind and hung new stands yesterday. Come on and hurry up already!

September 1st. We're leaving Wednesday night and plan to stay there for 5 day. Hunting, fishing, hunting, sleeping. Repeat. Oh, we might eat too. I'm currently suffering sleep deprivation I'm so excited.

My favorite day...Mule deer starts in 4 days!. WootWoot!
Sept 1-23 for Archery Cougar. My neighbor 7 houses down had a cougar laying in his front yard. Early morning hours. His Dogs barking woke him up. it will be tough getting a cougar while Deer hunting but one might cross my path.
Sept 6 for General elk.
Fall black bear already started.

I don't think I'll ever be totaly ready. Seems I'm always seeing and buying new things to upgrade what I have.
Sometimes I upgrade 2 or 3 times before I'm happy and move on to something else.
No worries though, I always have somethings left over to trade or sell at bargin prices.
Right now I'm working on a new quiver. This will be #3 so far. Can't try them out before you buy them so it's hope for the best.
I quit smoking in february so I'm saving about 70 to 80 bucks a month.
That gives myself permission to spend 100 to 120 bucks a month an archery stuff.
Tell me that archery is not a worse addiction then smoking.
I can't even tell you what I spend the money on but my back account says I did.
I go through this every year so come opener I'll be close to ready, go luck all !!!!!!!
