    Default Slilencer vs Firecat 400

Been thinking pretty hard about buying a second martin. I want a faster bow and have been looking at both the Firecat 400 and the silencer. Other than about 40 bucks or so and that cat tooth on the riser does any one know any other differences in these 2 bows? I'm probably going to wait till next spring to find out what changes are going to be made before making a purchase, but I think their the same bow.

The Firecat has that neat tooth to use as a bow hanger. lol I've shot both of them side by side. They feel the same, and shoot the same. Unless you just love the looks of the FC riser, I'd go with the Silencer.

that's what their pushing down at the shop. The dealer down there really loves the silencer but the only dual cam bows I hear people talking about on here are the onza and firecat. Silencer is probably going to be the direction I go but something draws me to the firecat though.

Pro verses Gold, tooth vs no tooth. I would probably go for the Firecat if its just $40 extra because it sounds faster.

I paid extra because I liked the claw/tooth look. If I needed to save $40 I would have got the Silencer since it is the same bow for all intents and purposes.

^^ The way it should be, never having to know if customer service is great or not! Too bad it isn't that way for all companies. It makes you wonder when eveyone knows about great customer service from a company doesn't it? ^^

I agree, but the penny pincher in me makes it hard for me to let go of that 40$ for the same product.

Which one do you like the look of more though? I'd spend the extra $$ for a better looking bow, I would.

I'd wait to see what the 2012's look like, and if there are not many changes, wait for the 2012's to hit the rack and pick up a left over 2011 on the cheap.

I agree destroyer, the kitty does look cooler. But for the same bow I could use the extra cash on a better sight or rest which would definitely make a difference in the bows. Going to the shop tomorrow to drop off my exile for new limbs, Hope I will be able to shoot one or both of them. decisions, decisions...

Seems people are more familiar with the firecat riser than with the silencer.
People may say "hey nice bow" if you got a silencer, but, people would tell you "awesome firecat"
    They know...
