BRH, I just looked at mine. Your lean is not that much more than mine. Does your cable slide have the string on the outside groove and in the shortest part of the glide? With the cable in the longest grove. Also I took a lot of lean out by measuring the ata on both sides and matched them by twisting the yoke till they were the same.

By the looks of that pic the cable slide is equal causing the cable to have excessive pull. My cable slide is grey and has a very long section for the cable.

ok update:

Measured from edge of idler wheel to black string 1/2", measured from edge of idler wheel to red string 3/8 inch. i do have idler wheel lean!

from the looks of that pix, it seems the cable guide is pulling it way out . just a guess

Sonny is right on the yoke. Most of the Martins are 7 inch yokes. But the Bengal is 8 inches. So from the end of the loop to the serving it should be 8 inches. If it is not that can change how it pulls the idler over.

from what hutch said its 7 inches from serving to end of loop.

That would be confirming what Sonny said. That yoke is too short and is causing some of the problem.

Not a problem, I would like to see that Bengal shoot as smooth as mine. Once you get a set of strings on it, there will be a few adjustments to get the correct specs and you should be right on the money.

Ok so had someone look at pics and low and behold............... the cable slide was on backwards. Loosened limbs, flipped the cable slide and whaaaaalaaaaaaaaaa i have full clearence on my string. Well since the only one who messed with it was the guy who put the last set of strings on my bow, i think he needs a kick to the shins.
