Installing Cat Whiskers?

That second one is the way I like to do them........looks pretty good when done too.

X2 I now use this method myself and feel the whiskers do a great job. Way cheaper than leaches or any of the other string silencing products too. I used leaches all the time b4 I listened to the guys on this forum. Whiskers all the way now.

So should I pull my leaches and only put whiskers? Or try with both?

I have tried whiskers and ended up not liking all that stuff dangling on my strings. The Astro Flight string material has proven pretty quiet all by itself. If I need to quiet my bowstrings down, which I don't I just use a heavier arrow. Works like a charm. Always loctite accessories in and ensure they are tightened. Martins VEM's do a great job in quieting the bows. JMHO

I would remove leaches and go w/ the whiskers only. That would be my preference.

leaches are not very durable, tending to cut in half and pop out aftershooting a while.........at least that has been my experience, and most the guys I shoot with that have tried them.
