birddog, release the tension on your string by backing off the limb bolts about 5-6 full rotations should be enough. Grab the string and cable and squeeze them together. Push/pull string/cable to rotate the cam slightly to expose the allen head. Usually works by pulling cable to riser. Be sure to back off bolts equally; when done tighten equally. Hope this helps.

Sometimes you dont even need to release tention by backing the bolts out. And it might be easier if someone pulls the cable while you pull the mod screw out.

with the bow faceing you you can grab the cable and squeez it just a bit to get the cam to rotate more then enought to get that screw out.no need to back anything off it will be more work then what is needed.

Someone even suggested using a zip tie to hold the cable while you remove the screw too.

x2 using a zip tie will help make it a lot easier.

All of the above methods will work, but I'll add that you could just use a belt around riser and string, and pull snug enough to rotate your cam enough to get the allen wrench into the screw head.

    Hey Hutch, nice new avatar!
