    Red face Doe Down

First time I have been on the board this early; this one is special to me because over the last year I have been learning bow maintenance from reading forums like this. I bought a used Martin Moab from archery talk and the bow was out of spec and in need of an overhaul. I purchased a string from twisted strings and installed it myself getting the bow in spec from ATA and cam timing. I finished setting this bow up a month ago and it has been the most accurate bow I have shot to this date. This doe was the first deer I have taken with my Martin bow and it will definitely not be the last.

Congratulations, not only on the deer, but on building your ability to work on your own bow. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I have really enjoyed this bow ( 09 Moab ) so far. I let a buddy shoot who owns a Mathews reezen and he was shocked at how smooth it was but what really shocked him was the PRICE I paid for it.

Welcome to the forum and isn't it nice to rub it in on the price when others pay double. Nice doe!
