I presently shoot a #50 Rebel using Carbon Express Heritage 150's w/100 gr inserts and 125 grain tips. I recently purchased a Mamba @ #45. (both weights @ 28")

Would those arrows shoot well in the Mamba? I've shot a few and they seem OK, just haven't stripped one to bare shaft. Also, what would be a recommended arrow for the Mamba? I understand tuning arrows, just don't know where to start with spine. Thanks in advance.

Most recurves are weighed at 28" ( the average draw length of most archers ), and if you draw more arrow than that, the draw weight goes up, so first we need to know what you draw? If its 29", your 150's will be right for your 45# Mamba. Heres the link to Carbon Express shaft selector. You'll have to download a small pdf file.

my draw length measures to 28". I guess I'll have to measure and see if I'm actually drawing 28".

Looks like your 150s are good for both bows at your draw length.
