Thanks for the pics. I would be very surprised if they came out with an X system. I believe they left the cable guard off on purpose to focus on just the riser. I do like the looks of the new single cam.
there has been alot of demand for the x system, everyforum i read there is allways people wanting the x to come back.so many people want it back...just like the bengal,it has been around for a long time.yes ridge hunter came out but to me its not the trade mark bengal.martin did good by bringing it back
It does make you wonder what they were thinking, don't it? The Bengal was probably the best selling bow they've had in the last 10 years and they go and change the name just for the sake of change. People do relate to name recognition. I wonder how many Ridge Hunters they sold as compared to Bengals the year before.

Is it just me or does the idler wheel on that new bow looks small compared to the size of the lower cam?
I makes me wonder if there are going to be new cams on the two cam bows as well? If that happens it will make my Nitro 2 cammed bow worth even less once they are released.![]()

^^ The way it should be, never having to know if customer service is great or not! Too bad it isn't that way for all companies. It makes you wonder when eveyone knows about great customer service from a company doesn't it? ^^
i would think a small wheel would give a bit more speed.spins faster,
Actually, the further you are from the pivot the faster you will travel on the arc. Remember playing snap the whip and being on the end?
Anyway, the just looks small in the picture, it could be an optical illusion.

I think the idlers looks like it matches well actually. Look at how much space is between the string/cables at rest in the cam, and idler. They have nearly the same spacing, so either its an optical illusion or some new Martin innovation (we all know they are good for it) I got raked over the coals on AT for mentioning that the cam looks quite aggressive, and I said hopefully that equals more speed. I got told I can't tell that from looking st the cam track. I really wanna call b.s. on that since comparing bows of the past with small cams to bows of today with large cams, I gotta think the aggressive shape has something to so with speed. I realize the limbs have to do with it as well, but then Egypt is that once.ou replace the round idlers with a second cam, you have more sees than a single with the same limbs? Just thought I'd share that. I feel the cam looks badass..... and I want one. Haha. Also... now seems to be under 30" ata doesn't it?
