Default Converting an 09 (?) Pantera

I'm wanting to put Cat/Hybrix cams on what is now a single cam Pantera.

Where do I start with string and cable lengths?

What should I expect out of my (now) 60# limbs?

The Pantera was discontinued in 07 and then revived again in 2010. The 07 had an A2A of 35" while the 2010-11 has an A2A of 32.25". To get started on string/cable lengths, you'll need to determine what year the bow actually is and then compare A-A lengths with bows equipped with those cams from the factory. If its an 07 model, you could probably use the Warthog string/cable specs to start with, if its a 2010-11 model you could use the FC 400 specs to start with. This will only get you in the ballpark though and you will probably need to adjust the lengths somewhat to get to your final specs.

You will probably lose a few pounds in DW with the stock limbs. The bigger problem will be keeping them intact, if they don't have reinforced tips, they probably will not hold up to the added stress of the dual cams. If your limb tips are not reinforced, I would suggest not doing this swap.

    Thank you, archerx7.

I guess it's older than I remembered. Heck, so am I.

I appreciate the caution. Just hope I'm wise enough to heed it.
