    Default puzzled

    I have a PSE Stinger...I shoot at 65# 27.5 draw and 388 grain arrow.the IBO on this bow is 318...I wanted a faster bow so I bought a Silencer..its IBO is 330..I was told it would be faster and I would notice....The Silencer is set the same using same arrows..Can't notice any difference in speed...Starting to feel like I just wasted my money. any comments ?

    Do you know what real speed you are getting out of both the bows?

    Unless you chronograph both bows you won't know what they are really doing. My FC400, same as your Silencer, is faster than my son's Pantera. We chrono'd them a while back and I was about 20 fps faster. But just shooting them you can't tell it.

    BTW your Silencer is IBO rated at 335-345 FPS, not 330.

    No haven't chrono them...just by feel I know its not exact..lol..BTW MLN where are you in SW OK...I'm in Del City

    Both these guys are telling it like it is you can't tell unless you see it in the writing on a chrono.

    IBO for the 2012 Silencer is 330-340, while the ibo for the 2011 is 335-345.

    I got some hutch~n~son strings and i got 15 fps for free! Before i underrated my ibo, but not anymore!!!

    I second this notion. Which to me 340 IBO leaves you plenty of speed. I feel a lot of archers get caught up in speed. But if they want speed, then more power to them. Everyone has their preferences.
