Just wondering how long the strings will last. Maybe not too and I will have more business!
Its hard to tell, but if they slide back and forth that is a benefit.

In all honestly it's one of the ugliest bow accessories i've ever seen, but if it works, hey

I think athens is getting closer to the mark: they're allowing the same inwards movement, but with each cable/string on a roller that slides as well.

Do you guys think these really improve much?

One thing I notice from the picture. The cables are on the inside if the guide rod, not the outside, and the angle of the cable bends don't look as severe. That said I still think the cables will flatten as hey slide across the apparatus and cause a lot of friction. I believe this friction is what caused all the cable problems for Martin

^^ The way it should be, never having to know if customer service is great or not! Too bad it isn't that way for all companies. It makes you wonder when eveyone knows about great customer service from a company doesn't it? ^^

I like strothers. Seems like a good company and seems like they make a quality bow. But I am calling bust on this particular accessory. If you look closely at the closet cable, it looks like there is quite a bit of tension on it. Almost like it is being pressed outward. To me, it seems like that added tension on the cable during draw will slowly cause it to cut into the cable and break. Also it is bulky and ugly. Not very appealing to the eye. Companies need to just go with RockyHuds idea they will be all set and ready for business.

I have to agree with Kyle. I think too many "engineers" are trying to show how great they are and what kinda stuff they can design without ever looking for the simplest, most effective answer instead. Keep It Simple Stupid! I run into that everyday in my business. Everything has to be "reworked" because some engineer that's never USED a product comes up with a better, more complicated way of doing it.

Probably the biggest holdup on designing one like Rocky is that they are too much like the Tilt Tamer so patent restrictions would apply. That being said just one drawback I saw with the TRG was that it held the cables too far off center to start with. When the bow was drawn they slid inward toward the string, but ended up with about the same clearance as a regular slide does actually deleting any real advantage to the lib twist/cam lean theory.
