I'm looking at a used Martin Bengal with M cam. How can I tell when it was manufactured or what model it is?

Look at the serial number on the bottom limb sticker. The first two numbers state the year of manufacture. Another way is to identify the cam. The 2007 version had the MPro cam in a gray color. 2008 had an M2Pro cam that was black--and had a slot machined in it for a draw stop.

One thing to add. Depending on the date it was manufactured it could be that model year or the following model year.
E.G. My 2011 Firecat 400 serial number starts with 10 making the manufacture date 2010 but not the model year. The FC400 was not released until 2011 so my bow was made in 2010 even though it is a 2011 model. Clear as mud?

^^ The way it should be, never having to know if customer service is great or not! Too bad it isn't that way for all companies. It makes you wonder when eveyone knows about great customer service from a company doesn't it? ^^
