    Default 3-D shoot today.

My wife, Sue and I will be going to a 3-D turkey shoot today put on by Cherry Valley Bowhunters, one of the local clubs out here.
It is a 42 3-D target, 1 arrow, unmarked yardage shoot. They have Doe tags and Mulligans if you want.
This is going to be a real fun shoot, we are going to be joined by some of our family members and some good friends. There shound be about 7 of us in the group. The weather man is calling for a high of 78 deg.
I will try to get a bunch of pics to post up later today.

Hope you had a good day Don.

I have just got back from a trip to the Breacon Beacons, where Green Meadow Archers had their first ever 3D shoot.

40 targets, all unmarked on a reasonably flat, but challenging course.

The good news is, I had my first win with my Shadowcat.

Plenty of folks there with cameras, so I hope to link to some photo's in the next day or so.

Well we are home. It ended up getting up the the mid 80's today, a bit warmer than my wife wanted. Oh well...lol
Sue ended up bringing home 1st place a good friend of mine, Bill got first in the fingers non-sight class, another friend of mine,Dave got 2nd and I had a real bad day, ended up with a 3rd.
I broke 2 of my HT-4s, both when I bounced them around through the scrub oak brush.
Pics are of Sue, Bill and myself.

    Don.
I'm still working out how the Gator's fly, so I used them on some of the close shots (20 to 30 Yards), they land bang on the point of aim every time.

Now all I have to do is to make sure that spot is the pro-ring

It looks like you folks had a blast. I wish I had something nearby like that and I wished it was 80 degree's still. I'm not ready for fall and winter.

    Minnie,
There are buck doe combo targets. Sometimes the buck is behind a doe or bedded down and a doe is placed so that you have to shoot under the doe to hit the buck. Well if you hit the doe without a doe tag it's a minus 5. But if you have a doe tag it's scored as a 5.
Mulligans are used just like in golf... if you miss a shot you can use a mulligan for a do over.
The doe tags and mulligans cost an extra dollar each when you sign up for the shoot. 2 doe tags and 3 mulligans max per archer.
