I have seen and got more deer on the ground then in a blind or tree stand. How about you?

Tree stand
All from the ground. I did try a ground blind for three days. On the third day it was 90 plus degree's in the ground blind. I ended up taking off clothing as the it got hotter. i was in my boxer briefs three hours later Sweating like crazy. Then the winds picked up which was great but I had forgotten to use the ground stakes. The blind tried to lift off while I was in my briefs. It's funny now but not while it was all going on. I ended up selling my ground blind one week later.

^^ The way it should be, never having to know if customer service is great or not! Too bad it isn't that way for all companies. It makes you wonder when eveyone knows about great customer service from a company doesn't it? ^^
Ive taken 4 from the ground, and zero from a tree. I am sitting in a tree this year though.
2010 rytera x. apache rest, truglo 5pin. 8in shockbocker 1000 stabilizer. norway g2 string tamer Huch-n-Son strings
2010 rytera z apache carbon rest axt primal x5 sight
All from the ground, except maybe 2 that I shot from a half built cabin, so that may qualify as a blind.
2012 Alien X
Zero from a tree. Right at 30 on the ground but 6 or 8 of them were ambushed from behind piled up branches or whatever so I guess could be considered as taken from a blind.
No trees here where I hunt. Everything I have been able to harvest has been from spot and stalk hunting.

I shoot fingers non-sights...is there really any other way.
20+ deer from a tree, maybe 2-3 from the ground. Some stand heights as low as 8 feet, but most around 15 feet. I use alot of ladder stands due to the ease of getting into them. Deer don't seem to care if theree's a ladder up against the tree. I've had does bed down between the legs of the ladder and the tree before. Never shot one from a blind.

Spot and stalk have taken all my deer, but I still spend hours in blinds, hoping to change that.![]()
