Thread: Sights Good & Bad

    Default Sights Good & Bad

Looking to get a new sight & would like to harness the vast knowledge available on this forum before I decide.

    Simple theory:

    Which are good?
    Which are mediocre/ok?
Which to avoid at all cost?

Depends on what your are doing. Target , hunting , or both. Once we can determine that, then we can help you find a sight. Many nice sights out there for both.

Have a look at The System made by Davis, I have three and have been using them for four years at 3D comps with no issues.

    Dedicated Finger Shooter.

Shadowcat(s) with Barnsdale limbs: Davis The System, Free Flyte rest.

I have a CBE sight and scope, it was used one year for indoor spots by some guy, and he sold it to me for 250$...It was practically brand new...what Don was offering, was a helluva good price!!! your not gonna find too much quality stuff for under 250-300$

With that being said, a great alternative, is the HHA Single pin slider sights...highest of quality, great fiber optics, best customer service, and super easy to use.

I love my HHA's, have two of them. Both are the OL5519 , been wanting to try the 5510 or just get the .10 scope piece. On the Bowtech there were no issues with the sight anywhere. My Oneida is a different story, the riser presents a problem trying to center a peep over any sight so I just dealt with it. I was looking for something on E-Bay and found a 4" extension for the HHA and bought one. Not only did it fix the issue with the riser but the added length makes it more accurate. I may get another one for the Bowtech.
