happened to anyone else

All you have to do is loosen the top Allen bolt 2 full turns then the bottom 2 full turns and countinue that till the string is loose. Take pics of the string routing and then take the string to a shop and have it reserve.

r u shur it doesent need a press its a martin exile 70 pound and what aboutn the string what all is wrong withmit do i need to call martin tomarrow and get a new sstring

i am 100% positive you do not need a press.i have takin my bow dowm(70lb bengal)with no problem and my budys 70 lb exile.martin built them so a guy does not need a press.you only need serving if it is coming off the string or if it is loose.

ok so grave digger i have a question for you if i need to change my draw length do i need a bow press for that or do i just turn down my limbs

and if so what thing is for 30 inch draw f-1 f-2 f-3 f-4 f-5 f-6

you do not need a press and you dont even need to back out your limb bolts to change it out.i will have my wife take some pics of how i do it in a few min.she is giveing my baby brook a bath so after that.and as for your draw mod f-6 or f-7 would be 30 inch depending on the amount of let off you want.how tall are you?

a trick to get a great idea of your DL is to measure your wing span from finger tip to finger tip then divide by 2.5 and that will give you a great idea og dl.

i just put my thumb on the riser grab the cable closest to the riser and squeez enough to get to the bolt on the draw mod and take the bolt out.i can do this by myself but if yo have a second person to help that is good to.

Sounds like you'd be better off taking it to a bowshop and having them take care of it. When you get a little more experience with bows then do some of the work yourself.
