    Default Green Meadow Halloween Shoot

As posted on one of Don's threads, I shot a 40 target 3D shoot last weekend.

It was not officially a Halloween shoot, but you might spot one or two 'in costume'. I am not in costume, but look out for a tall bloke in a grey fleece top who appears to be walking and standing still at the same time!

    Neil,
Looks like a good day of shooting. Is that your Shadowcat in your hand?
And it does look like you are walking.

    Don,
my Cat is on the floor in front of me, and goodness only knows what I was doing.

    A couple more pictures.

The Bison was at 63 yards, but looked like it was at 50! Tricky blighters these course setters.

    Neil,
It must really be a pain trying to find missed shots on that course.

Most UK courses look similar, so people are pretty good at finding strays. I think all but one of the lost arrows from my group were found.

I am glad to say I only had one second shot all day (we are allowed up to three shots on each target), and that was on the Bison, which was our first target. My first arrow was actually in the foot, but hoofs and horns don't count. My second shot was in the pro-ring, I only wish I could do that with the first shot more often (or at all).
