whats the lowest poundage

what is the lowest draw weight that you can use a drop away with im not worried about it when im hunting cuz my bow is at 70 pound draw but swim seasion is comming up and i shoot every day and my shoulder gets sore so for during the swim seasion i am doind to turn my bow down to 55 pounds so my sholder wont be sore because every day no matter what i will take atleast 20 or 30 shot if its out side in my back yard or down in my base ment i will end up to shoot some how nomatter what time it is but any way i want to make sure that my drop away will shoot every time it will drop out of the way

yeah you will be good. a drop away shouldnt malfunction , even at a nearly nominal poundage of draw weight

ok good i thought i heard something that you had to have a certian poundage to use it or else it wont work

Nope, drop-aways will work at the lowest draw weights, Grandson's Parker SideKick had a drop-away ( still does )even when it was only 19#s.

Corded drop away rests work on movement to make them drop, so poundage isn't a factor in a normally functioning bow.

i've shot my bows down to 45 lbs. with quad hunter rests , never had any problems!
