Yeah string is still too long, brace is at 9 3/8" giving up some power stroke, string hits me higher on my forearm than I remember, still showing over a 1/2 inch of string grove at the limb tips. Shoots good, but think she can do better, used to shoot without any thing on the string and she was quiet, right now, a bit twangy without the wiskers/ spiders on the string. Looking thru the old Darton catalogs the closest bow we can find is a 1975 Fury, same AMO length, ie: 60" with a brace of 8 1/4 to 9 1/4", so currently an 1/8" over that. How much longer should string be to drop the brace about an inch?

any one know why they ( darton ) have the string lengths blacked out in the catalog and new one's wrote next to it.. I have to asume its because the 4" shorter then AMO is wrong... any other input... fealing ignored here

Thats the plan as it is i went 3 1 /2 and its just too Short at 56.5.. so was thinking 57 1/4 twist that to fit.... I took just about all the twist out i can as it is.. Just need some string and a Jig...lol BH is now 9 5/16 still 1/16 over what i am to assume is top end of BH .. 75 fury is 8 1/4 - 9 1/4..ugggg New string again...

uuuhh, that would be too SHORT, longer string = lower brace. Just sayin, Son.
