Default Recommend me a 5 pin sight

I shoot 3D and field comps, and I have just started working up my 2012 comp bow, my Athens Excell.

I have used Davis sights with 5 pin frames for a looong time, as they allow me a lot of adjustment, but I just noticed that on the Excell, almost everything is in a dead straight line, so I really don't need all the weight and complication of a target sight with a 4" frame, when a straightforward 5 pin hunting sight would do.

So: I am looking for recommendations for a good, solid, visible sights. If possible with .29 and .19 pins (so I can have the .29 at closer range and the .19 for my 50 and 60 yard pins).

We have a limited availability of manufacturers over her, but I'm not adverse to a bit of personal importation.

Oh and Don: The Gators are working just fine.

I've got an older model Viper H-1000. it's built very well and has the Harmonic Dampner. ive got a single .019 pin, though it's actually a multi pin sight. it's about the only multi-pin i can suggest, since its the only one I've tried. but check their website. tons of different options available

Sounds like a Truglo Micro brite is what you are looking for. It has what they call DDP, which the top pin is .029, second and third pin is .019, fourth and fifth pins are .010.

They are a nice sight, have one on my Silencer at the moment. It will be on my boy's Leopard this spring as I am upgrading to an Apex 6 pin.
A little common sense goes a long way, unfortunately it's in short supply!

I am happy with my Sword sight. Mine only has 4 pins, but if you order off the web site, you can customize not only the size but the color of the pins as well. http://www.swordsight.com/

The Swords look like nice sights, but they are a bit pricey over here.

Not seen the Truglo, although one of the top dealers over here stocks them. Are they tough?

    I'll take a look Kev.

I'm considering all options at present, as long as it's a 5 pin.

I Like My Sword 3rd plane sight with Extension bar. You can get the same sight in a shorter bar too. You can add or remove pins as needed. Plus the sight is durable...I found out...just don't ask how I found out.
