    Ok so you all postin up made me do this.. here is the 8 I got last night at wally world..
    Yep sure did swaped out the grey nocks and tore off the 4" vane and replaced it with a wild turkey feather I had cut for a straight fletch flu flu

    Burr... So testing is done wow looks like im onto a goose arrow..lol
    shows no sign of slowing for the 1st 40 yards.. yard bombers fly over all the time somedays just over the roof tops...lol

    thats ok I never act my age...lol

    Cut up some more feathers. Should have them glued on here in a bit.
    Un desided on how I should do one, with the 6 1/2 shield cut look alike. Also have a 4" version I did last night..

    well looks like i should have done more trimming... My shield cuts just had too much quil left... looks bad hope it flys ok... No matter its just a flu flu shot instinctive style... now the HUm what to call them.... The Avitar style looks real good and should go 50 befor slowing down..... why bother, well we have a bottle lancher and ton of honkers that fly over ALOT That and just plain fun to shoot

    as one can see i lazed out and did not trim quil as much as i should have...oh well I have more...

    wouldn't you now it here I am ready to rip the big shields off an redo.. But befor i jump the string ...lol I best go test it...darn it flys nice and was grouping with my regular arrows and was the only one to hit my target (paper card 4x6") @ 35 yards..
    Did the level bow check... yikes the avitar looking one went 57 paces and skiped off gravel road edge an burried in the grass.. so not the Forest grouse arrow for sure... never find it ...Keep in mind I am 6'4" so that 57 is liek 65 yards or so...HUMMMMM perhaps a 4 fletch with stiffer feathers...thease are sort of soft an flexable.. for being un even yep I said un even They are in a natural state still no triming exepct for spliting the quil... The fly prety nice..
    May try to do some regular fletch Hunting style...humm
