    Default Firecat gets it's first

Finally got a buck with a FC. I didn't make the best shot, but the buck just walked off about 25 yards and laid down to expire. Thankfully, the end came pretty quickly for it. Complete pass through and found the arrow buried 12 inches deep in the ground. Now I have to inititate an Onza, and an Alien X on does. lol Notice the odd little "kicker" growing out between the antlers in the second pic. Not big enough to count, but kind of unique.IMG_0189.jpgIMG_0193.jpg

Speedy, it was 15 when I went out this morning. Guessing about 20 when I shot him. Warmed up to around 28 by the time I got him home and took the pics. Nice and clear though, so no complaints. lol

Says who, I'm counting it, as far as I concerned, you're the first guy I know who's harvested a triceratops! Nice buck, however you count it E.

Thanks all. Well, I've caught enough grief over shooting that buck without my g/f being present, that now I have to wait on her to come back to town before I can go doe hunting. lol Gotta give her credit though, she's sat in the tree with me several times in some cold weather, just waiting for me to shoot a buck. Then the one morning I go out without her, bingo. Come to think of it, I didn't get a turkey this spring and she was with me most every trip......I smell a hunting Jinx. lol
