Just a D-loop on all my bows. Other than getting some crappy Paradox cord once instead of BCY 24, I haven't had a single problem. Nothing moves, nothing changes. I do wax the heck out of the cords before I tie them on though, that seems to help it snug down very tight.

D loops are easy once you know how..but since your getting a string from Bill and he just orderd the chrony..may as well have him do it up right and supershooterize it.. If the Ole boy is up to it...may be too busy testing his an Brads gear....![]()

Have about 35 shots thru the new strings and no rotation of the Hutch strings. I did put 20 thru it at about 10 yds to settle the strings before I put the peep in per Kenny's bow tuning tips site. So far so good.

you should be good to go now looked like Bill got it wraped up tight... I got a new string last season , was told the same thing, shoot peep less for a bit then install.. no movement at all.

Although I do read about going peepless for a hundred shots or so, and see the reason for it, I like to install a peep right away just to see if there is any rotation as the bow is drawn. I know it will probably change orientation as the string settles, but that is easy enough to fix later. No more work than installing the peep in the first place. Besides it gives me something else to play around with.
I've had custom strings from a few guys and so far, knock on wood, haven't had to add more than 1/2 twist to the string after it settled. I do get a bit of rotation in my Hammerhead strings, may 15 degrees, but I just orientate it to allow for this. The setting on my Alien Z hasn't changed hardly at all in two years---maybe 8000 shots.
