    Congrats on your doe and welcome to the forum.

    Your shot looks way far back in the pic. Is that the entrance or exit wound?

    liver/lung hit. good job on the recovery.

    cut the loins into 1" pieces,pan fry in butter w onions,wrap in a tortilla shell,the frie the whole thing and chow.
    that's my new venison addiction. last time i did that i ate 3lbs in one setting. SOOO Good! make sure to have some Coke or a brewski to wash it down.

    I was not going to mention the wound location... but since it was already.. did look a bit high and far back.... were you in a tree stand, her quarting away?

    That's the exit hole, the entry was right behind her shoulder.

    Ive eaten all of her buddy! That's why I need to get another one tonight! lol

    Dang, you must have ate deer every night and day! We are still eating the first one. Holiday antler-less started today and we'll go get a couple more! Then it is back to broadheads until Jan 15.
