no tuning to fingers is not the same as tunning to a release.. search out nut and bolts on AT beleave i read something about finger shooters in his tunning tips

It would seem that I forgot that little detail. Don, my integrity is at stake here so I'm not gonna lie to you. I haven't shot or tuned shooting fingers since 1974 so honestly I forgot what I once knew about tunign for fingers. Best I can offer is to use Easton's Tuning Guide for guidance.

I haven't read Nuts-n-Bolts book on tuning yet, but plan to. Alan really does have his act together. It's a STICKY at the top of the General forum on AT. You could also PM Alan and see what he has to say.

I have tried bare shaft tuning on a number of occasions over the years, and I have always felt that being a finger shooter makes life an awful lot harder due to archers paradox and the fact that there are no fletchings to help damp out and correct it.
