Increasing -Draw Weight-Limbs Bottomed Out

Put new 50 pound limbs on my shadowcat. they're bottomed out but i'm only getting 46.5 pounds. which cabel to twist to up draw weight? ata and brace seem to be right on.

What do you mean which cable? It's a dual cam, right? You add equal twists to both cables. Not the string. What's the deflection number on the limbs?

don't know what the number is. its seems to be buried in the limb pockets.
so, i twist both cables the same amount?

If its a dual cam bow........you'll need to put an equal number of twists into each cable, but beaware that this will also increase the draw length somewhat.

Carlos, I just took for granted that you had a newer ShadowCat. What year is yours? Apparently you have one of the older ones; not really old, but prior to 2008 when they came out with roto-cups to replace the older style limb pockets. If you back off the limbs enough you'll see a number/letter ( 3M?) written on the side of the limb near the butt end. This would be the limb deflection code. Something else, measure the length of the limbs. Are they the 14" variety?

Thanks. Its a 2010 with 2011 limbs. (Thanks, Joel!) I'll check the limb info later today when I get a chance.
