2011 Exile – Draw Length Help Needed

I’ve been using the F5 module and I measured my ATA draw length to be 28.5” (limbs 1/4 turn out).

I’d like to try 29”, how do I do that? I believe I have to put in the F7 module and then use one of the pegs? When I put the F7 module in, I get a 30" DL in the current configuration. Do I need a bow press for this? How do I get ½” adjustments? Why is there an F6 module if none of the bows use it?

Also, I have my draw stop near the +, I assume that's 80% let off? The - would be the lowest let off?

1.) You are correct.
2.) No, just back the limbs carefully all the way out. Almost all Martins are designed to do this.
3.) By using the pegs. Just move the string to the other peg with the F7 module installed.
4.) I'm not sure why Martin did that for 2011.
5.) The highest let off is towards the + side.

So I move the loop from peg "C" to "D" to shorten the draw 1/2"?

And if so, which side of "C" do I run the string around (from the perspective of the picture)?

It should because by moving the string farther in it gets shorter.

I believe it should go around the bottom.

Haha, thank you. There was a similar question here: http://martinarchery.com/mtechforum/...ng-Draw-Length but they didn't specify which pegs so I was still lost. I used the bow all season and want to make a few changes before next year. Thanks for the help.

Can someone please explain what this means? Forgive the ignorance.

Backing the limbs out means loosening the limb bolts until the string has no tension on it.
