    Cool 270 fps

Just shot my bow through the chrono, and got 270 fps. My Jaguar was set at 70 lbs. and 28" draw length. Arrows were 28.5" long and weighed 425+ grains.
It may not be shooting 300+ fps, but I think 270 isn't too bad(I am not a speed nut anyways). My 2007 Jaguar is rated for 310 IBO.

^^ The way it should be, never having to know if customer service is great or not! Too bad it isn't that way for all companies. It makes you wonder when eveyone knows about great customer service from a company doesn't it? ^^

I won't be leaving it 70 lbs, but even at 60lbs. it does around 260 fps.

More than enough to take any critter that you're likely to encounter, I've lost count of the deer I've taken with a 47# recurve. And even your young shoulder will will be much happier at 60#'s, Its accuracy that really counts, not power.

I have never regularly shot my bow at 70 lbs. I usually have it set for about 60 lbs. Of course, I had to see how fast it would shoot.LOL

That is really good! My "SPEED" bow shot 271 fps at 27.5" and 56# with a 335 grain arrow. I would say your bow is doing excellent since it is supposedly 35 fps slower than my FC400.

I'd say that's a darn good speed. I'd hate to guess how many deer have fallen over the years to bows shooting less than that. It's all about hitting the sweet spot.
