positioning the nock locator
If I plan on shooting an X-200 with a D-loop as the nock locator (nocking points) do I want to set it so the arrow is 90deg to the bowstring or do I set it high (the general consensus seems to be 1/8")? I understand the reasoning behind setting the locator so that the arrow is not 90deg to the string for 3finger-draws, mechanical pulls without a D-loop, and compounds etc. but I just don't get why some suggest the arrow shouldn't be at 90deg as a starting point when setting up a trad bow in this configuration. thanks.
