Wolverine, I'm shooting these arrows out of my 70# bows only. They are .350 spine arrows. By swapping from a 43 gr. insert to a 90 will definitely weaken the spine. That's why I was asking about a 75 grain head. Currently shooting 100 gr. heads with the 43 gr. inserts. On Victory's chart, that's nearing a weak spine, but still safe. Switching to a 90 gr. insert and a 75 gr. head still is adding another 22 gr. to the front of the arrow, which is enough to weaken the spine. Front end weight weakens a spine, rear end weight strengthens a spine. Picked up some 75 gr. FP's today, so I'll give them a try and see how they work out with the new inserts.

Talked to one of the guys at Victory, and they said I would have to switch over to a .300 spine. Now, I gotta decide if I want to spend the money on new arrows, or just keep buying inserts. lol

high country archery makes a 55 gr broadhead.
innerlok makes a 65 gr one as well

Or you could drop draw wt some to make the arrows you have work.

Well, I grabbed some 85 grain Thunderheads, Slick Tricks, and ABC Sonics. Gonna flight test them all, and see what works best. Really like the looks of the Sonics. Hope they fly well.

Ehunter, if you find those 350's a tad on the weak side with the new inserts and 75gr heads you could always try turning the weight down to about 65#. I hate to keep preaching on this but the bow is infinitely more adjustable than the arrow. What you might give up in speed and trajectory would certainly be compensated by kinetic energy and a better FOC.

Barry, they ended up more than just a tad on the weak side. With what basically turns out as a 175 gr. head, I went ahead and bought some .300 spine arrows. Got the bow retuned with the new arrows, so now it's just a matter of picking from the broadheads I bought.
