    Default Tarted up Shadowcat

    Was a little disappointed when my "black" bow I ordered was in-fact carbon effect
    so took little tempting for a strip down and some new paint and matching strings
    and stabilisers...

    I am thinking of doing the same with my leopard spot camo cat.

    What paint did you use?
    Dedicated Finger Shooter.

    Shadowcat(s) with Barnsdale limbs: Davis The System, Free Flyte rest.
    Sky Art carbon arrows.

    Looks real good. What kind of prep did you do?

    It's just acrylic paint and well lacquered but done through a spray gun, not Aerosols

    Picture does not do it justice, has some nice though subtle green/gold flake in it too,
    Stripped with cheap alternative to Nitromors paint stripper from my local hardware store
    Two coats of filler primer as bare metal was very pitted rubbed down then handed over to
    my nephew who used to custom paint bicycle frames for a living.

    Sorry Hutch, couldn't tell you, as I said my nephew did all the top coat work on the bow, I don't think it would be anything less than top end kit.
