    Default Puzzled!!

My cousin bought a 2012 Exile Saturday. I was kinda excited to mess with the new XT cam, well for some reason there is no markings what so ever saying it is an Exile and it has the Accu Trac cam. I checked the number and it is in fact a 2012.

Can anyone explain why it doesn't have the Fury XT cam being a 2012?

Only thing I can think of would be if they made an early run and used up what older cams they had on hand. Both the Exile and Exile Pro are showing the new cam in Martin's catalog. I'd give the dealer a call and see what's going on. If he bought it online, I'd e-mail them. Or give Martin a call and see what's up.

please post a pic of the bow so we all can see it. where did you purchase it locally or online? sounds like a 2011 model no matter what the serial # may indicate. my first guess (hope?) is the factory didnt mess this up , they of all people should know what cam their new model year bow requires.
the 2012s look to have their model names inscribed into the grip on a little wooden looking inset, may actually be hard to see, it is in the catalog.

Best bet is to call customer service and have them iron it out.

No need really...if it has AcuTrak cams it is not a 2012 bow. He will need to contact the dealer it was purchased from.

    Thanks Joel.

Talked to my cousin and he said he wasn't going to worry about it as he likes the bow anyway.

P.s did you find the name inscribed anywhere on bow ? dont forget to post a pic of his bow anyway, we like seeing new bow photos . I predict you will want a new martin yourself soon.
