TAP archery program

Anyone ever use the TAP archery program? They have a free "trial" download (not updated since 2009), but you can still play around with numbers and such, and get a look at spine, speed, wind drift, arrow drop, etc. Not as good as some programs out there I'm sure, but with a little number switching, it did let me make new tapes for my HHA sights that go out to 95 yards.

From what I've heard the trial version doesn't give you all the parameters you need to be really proficient with it. I had the trial version a couple years ago and quit using it. I know this and other programs can be useful, but I have nough experience that I can pick arrow spines off the top of my head. And I'm not worried about nitpicking things like exact arrow length to match the spine perfectly to the bow. I pick an arrow that is close and then tune the bow to that arrow. Up or down a few pounds to optimize the spine means nothing to me. I don't care what the bow weight ends up at so long as the arrow flies right.

I'm not saying the programs aren't any good. All I'm saying is that instead of playing with 16ths of an inch in arrow length, certain fletchings, certsain point weights, etc, I can do the same thing with limb bolts and do it right at the range.
